MONROE – Children’s Mental Health Awareness 5k Walk

The event will start with registration at 8am and go until 12pm. We will have a clown, balloon animals, face painting and crafts for the youth. The walk is a 5k walk around the ponds in the center of Monroe. This event is held yearly as the major fund raiser for Voices United 4 Change a non-profit agency whose board is made up of parents and youth who work hard to decrease the stigma of Mental Illness. It is free to register but if you would like a t-shirt there is a registration fee of $15.00. We provide water and granola bars for the walkers. Come join us and help end the stigma of Mental Illness.
