​This spring break we will be hosting an art-stravaganza for students ages 5-12 at the Fishkill Recreation Center.
Camp will run for 5 days with each day consisting of an intricate exploration of different techniques.
Students can register for daily events or for the full week.
March 26 - March 30

Monday:
Origami with Miss Samantha
Students will learn about origami and learn how to make their own unique pieces.

Tuesday:
Upcycling with Miss Marlea
Students will learn about upcycling and create jewelry as well as design, paint and decorate planters for their own herb (or flower!) gardens.

Wednesday:
Acrylic Painting with Miss Marlea.
Students will receive a 16x20 canvas and be guided through various acrylic paint techniques. Painting will be gender neutral and reflect the tropics!

Thursday:
Bottle-Lantern Painting with Miss Marlea.
Students will learn to paint on glass. They will receive one large and one small piece. Large bottles will come with battery operated lights, turning each one into a beautiful glowing lantern. Small pieces will be turned into banks.

Friday:
Japanese art with Miss Samantha.
Students will learn about and practice different Japanese art styles. Students will also make their own Japanese-inspired comics.

​During each session, there will be a 20 minute snack break.
Students will be encouraged to bring a peanut free snack and a bottle of water.

The cost for each class is $35, or register for the whole week for $150.
