Printed Patterns- FAMILY WORKSHOP
Taught by Romina Robinson
Class date: Saturday, December 9, 1-3pm (folks can stick around until 4pm to print extra items if needed)

Slow down, share ideas, work as a team, and create something together! In this 2-hour collaborative parent-child workshop, parents and children of all ages will have the opportunity to connect as they collaborate on a collagraph print plate together. Using a variety of found and recycled materials, your plate design can then be used to print a repeating pattern. Learn about the magic of printmaking to create bold, eye-catching, graphic designs on fabric*, and make some unique gifts just in time for the holiday season! An extra hour can be used at the end of class for those who want to print their designs on multiple items.

*THIS IS A “BYO” event, bring your own fabric! Once you make your plate, you may print it as many times as you like, on as many items you like. The best fabric for printing is minimally textured, such as cotton, linen, canvas, etc. We will supply paper and have some basic items such as scarves and tote bags available for purchase.

If you have any questions about the workshop content, please email Romina directly at romicone@gmail.com.

If you don't have a kiddo and would like to attend, you can bring another friend instead!
