The Capital Region's hometown fair celebrates its 125th year with a jam-packed schedule of agriculture events, live entertainment, exhibits, contests and midway rides ranging from whimsical kiddie rides to state-of-the-art thrill rides.

Enjoy racing pigs, Circus Hollywood, livestock shows, live music, tiger shows, a petting zoo, horse and pony shows, agricultural demonstrations, hypnotism shows, World of Wonders old-time sideshow acts, Houdini-style Escape Explosion Show, a baby animal exhibit, Dynamo Dogs show, Blue Ribbon Cooking Center activities, lumberjack show, exotic reptile presentations, chainsaw carving demonstrations and a vast variety of favorite fair food.

Pay-one-price admission (includes parking, entertainment and unlimited rides) is $15 Tuesday and Wednesday and $17 Thursday - Sunday. Children under 36 inches tall are admitted free, rides excluded. Kid Zones are available around the fairgrounds for young children who do not meet the minimum height requirements for midway rides.

On Wednesday, seniors ages 65 and older, active members of the Armed Forces, veterans and Grange members are admitted free with ID until 4 pm, rides included.

Fair gates open at 10 am daily. Exhibits and vendors open at 11 am. The midway opens at noon and closes at 11 pm Tuesday - Saturday and 10 pm on Sunday.
