Are you in the mood to celebrate, maybe get dolled up and enjoy a holiday night on the Hudson river? This will bring you some holiday cheer as well as give you some insight into Hudson Valley history.

On December 15th The Roosevelt-Vanderbilt Historical Association will be hosting their second annual Christmas on the Hudson Holiday gala. The event, which will be set at Vanderbilt Mansion in Hyde Park, will begin at 6:30pm and run until 8:30pm. Formal attire is requested.

Guests will be able to enjoy "elegant hors d'oeuvres, champagne cocktails, extravagant decorations" and holiday music. Not only that, but guest will be given an exclusive opportunity to tour Fredrick Vanderbilt's bedroom and private bath where they can take pictures in front of the historic tapestries.

Proceeds from Christmas on the Hudson Holiday Gala will go to the National Parks Preservation program located in Hyde Park. This is a 21 and older event with tickets still available going for $100 each.
