What can 20 bucks get you these days? How about a bowl of soup and the knowledge that you've helped stock a local food pantry? And you even get to keep the bowl. Not a bad deal.

On Sunday, Sept. 23 from 4 pm - 8 pm, Local at Heart will host the Empty Bowls 2018 fundraiser on historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz. You'll get to sample soups from more than 20 local restaurants, enjoy live music, magic, and community spirit. Choose a one of a kind bowl to take home. For the kids, there will be face painting, cotton candy, and popcorn. A fun day for everyone! All for a $20 donation to help benefit local food pantries in the New Paltz and surrounding areas. You can also browse and bid on items in the silent auction.

The Empty Bowls 2018 fundraiser will be held rain or shine. For more information about Empty Bowls or about Local at Heart, visit their facebook page or the Local at Heart website.
