A Dutchess County man is accused of fatally stabbing a 28-year-old after the pair got into a disagreement on the side of the Taconic.

On Thursday in Westchester County Court, 21-year-old Christian Walczyk of Lagrangeville was indicted on charges for manslaughter, criminal impersonation and criminal possession of a weapon, all felonies.

On May 27, 28-year-old Daniel Sino of Harstdale and his wife were driving south on the Taconic when Walczyk pulled in front and allegedly brake checked the couple and later refused to let them pass.

Sino eventually pulled over just before the Briarcliff Manor Exit. Walczyk also pulled over and approached Sino as both men got out of their cars.

Walczyk is accused of approaching Sino while holding a fake police badge and hiding a folding knife.

As the two stood face to face, Walczyk stabbed Sino twice in the chest, police say. Sino died on the way to the hospital.

During the attack, Walczyk sliced his one finger. He allegedly went to a hospital and claimed he was the victim of a stabbing.

Walczyk was arrested after a knife was found at the scene of the stabbing.

Walczyk pleaded not guilty to the charges. He’s due back in court on Nov. 2.
