A Dutchess County man is facing felony charges after he was accused of driving drunk for the second time in about four years.

On Thursday around 12:30 a.m., New York State Police from Wappinger stopped a Dodge Pick-up truck traveling east on Myers Corners Road for allegedly failing to maintain its lane of travel.

A subsequent investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle, 28-year-old Kristopher J. Wilson of Poughkeepsie was intoxicated at the time of the stop, police say.

Wilson was charged with driving while intoxicated, a class E felony, when a look into his criminal history revealed a previous DWI related conviction from 2013.

Wilson was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Wappinger Court on April 20. He was released to a sober party.
