Wet weather has brought down some trees this morning, causing some road closures and delays.

Hudson Valley traffic reporter, Nancy Reamy, says that a downed tree is to blame for a road closure on Route 213 near Saugerties.  A span of the highway between Creek Locks Road and Grist Mill Road is impassable due to a downed tree.

Traffic has begun to back up in both directions and will continue to have a heavy impact on the area until the tree can be removed.

In Dutchess County, another downed tree has been reported on Route 9G North near Route 308. The tree is only affecting the Northbound lane, which now has heavy volume. Southbound traffic is moving, but you can also expect rubbernecking delays in that direction as well.
