An Open Letter to Sam Hunt
Dear Sam,
Hi. It's me, Jess from 94.3/97.3 The Wolf. You may have seen me standing by your bus with a cardboard cut out of your face at the Taste of Country Music Festival?
Anyway, I hope you're on the road to recovery from whatever you are sick with. I'm writing to tell you that it's okay. I understand that people get sick and let's be real here, you had a crazy couple of days. Rehearsal for the CMT Awards, then the actual awards show and the kicker, CMA Fest down in Nashville. It's a busy week, tack on traveling up to New York--you're bound to get sick.
With that being said, there were hundreds of fans who left the Taste of Country Music Festival a little upset. Myself included.
It's hard to reschedule an event like that with such a huge audience. So, I'm personally offering up my efforts (and CJ's too) to help you plan a come back show sometime in the near future.
I have some ideas, none of which include a private performance for just me--I promise.
We hope you feel better soon, and hope that everyone is giving you the space you need to recuperate.
