A Hudson Valley man is accused of threatening to kill a gas station employee. On Thursday, an Ulster County grand jury filed an indictment in New York State Supreme Court charging Brendan Darcy of Gardiner with first-degree robbery.

The indictment charges Darcy with forcibly stealing property from an employee of the Valero gas station on State Route 209 in the Town of Wawarsing.

Darcy is also accused of threatening to kill the employee while possessing what appeared to be a gun during the course of the robbery.

Darcy stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register before fleeing the convenience store, according to the Ulster County District Attorney's Office.

Officials didn't release information on when the alleged robbery took place.
