What would you do if your employer offered to buy you a gun for Christmas?

It's pretty rare that an employer goes out of his or her way to get all of their workers gifts anymore. It seems like even the old holiday bonus is hard come by now.

There's a company that's giving back this year but do the employees actually want it?

According to USA Today, the company BenShot out of Wisconsin is promoting personal safety and is offering all 16 full time employees a gun for Christmas. Though a few employees were reluctant to accept it they agreed after the company included a firearm safety course.

Do guns and the workplace mix in today's climate? The holidays are already a stressful time. Is this irresponsible on the companies part?
