Charles L. Nott, 86, of the Town of Newburgh, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.

The son of the late Henry and Helen (Grochmal) Nott, Charles was born on September 23, 1931 in Newmarket, NH.

Charles was a retired driver for Mobil Oil Company at the Newburgh terminal and was a former owner/operator of a Mobil Service Station in Pelham, NY.

In addition to his wife, Isabel L. (Alvarez) Nott at home, Charles is survived by three sons; Charles Nott Jr. of Deer Park, NY, Michael Nott of Beacon, NY and Kenyon Nott and his wife, Robyn of Wallkill; two daughters, Deborah Webster and her husband, Chuck of Inverness, FL, and Isabel Javinett and her husband Victor of Marlboro, NY; brothers: Joseph Nott of Mohegan Lake, NY and Raymond Nott of the Bronx, NY; seven grandchildren: Austin, Emma, Lily, Diana, Jayna, Gabriella, Nicole; great grandsons; Michael and Evander. In addition to his parents, Charles was predeceased by one brother, Bradford Nott.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from Noon to 3 p.m. at White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Rd., (Route 32) Newburgh. Funeral service will commence at 3 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home. Father Kevin Malick will officiate.

Private burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Newmarket, NH.
