It's been a rough couple of days here in the Hudson Valley.

As I'm sure you already know, it was confirmed on Wednesday that 4 tornadoes touched down in the Hudson Valley.

The Weather Channel confirms that  tornadoes touched down in Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Ulster and Columbia counties with winds in Kent peaking at 110 miles per hour.

Other towns like Beacon, Wappingers Falls, East Fishkill and Hopewell Junction experienced a macroburst.

Newburgh, it was reported, was hit by an EF-0 tornado that traveled 674 yards. The path ended with Newburgh, and many other Hudson Valley, residents without power.

While Central Hudson is working quickly, there devastation in some areas is making their job a little harder.

The City of Newburgh Facebook page shared on Wednesday, May 16th, that power restoration may take longer than originally thought.

At last check Central Hudson reports "37,000 customers remained without electric service in more than 425 individual damage locations."

Because so many are without power, Central Hudson has set up several Dry Ice and Bottled Water locations. Locations will be open until 5pm and when they run out of materials. You can find them below and get more details at CenHud.Com.
