Sidney A. Ferguson III “Boomer”, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 68
Sidney graduated from Newburgh Free Academy and invested his time becoming an amazing chef. He worked at multiple establishments, including his two favorites, Gully’s at Newburgh Waterfront and Dominick’s of Marlboro. Boomer was quick witted and voicetrous, he loved music and dancing but his passion was cooking. He was also a huge trivia buff. Boomer wasn’t always right, but he was NEVER wrong! And his heart was as big as his mouth, in his later years he’d hand out money envelopes on holidays to the needy. He loved his family dearly as he was loved. You will be missed ~ til we’re reunited.

Mom was a happy, caring, easy-going person. She served as a bookkeeper for our father's business, Max's Cleaning Service. She enjoyed Broadway shows, eating out, and tending to the many flowers in her yard, but most of all she loved family gatherings when everyone was together. She will be dearly missed, but lovingly remembered as the best mother ever.
