Brianna Christine Skriver, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 15

Brianna Christine Skriver, of Newburgh, entered into rest Friday, January 12, 2018 at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital. She was 15. The daughter of Tammy (MacMorran) Skriver, she was born March 5, 2002 in Kissimmee, Florida.

Brianna loved dancing, playing soccer, and loved her Disney Princesses. She was an amazing girl and will be deeply missed.

In addition to her mother Tammy, she is survived by her brother, Austin Skriver, at home; her grandparents, David and LouAnn MacMorran of Florida; her great-grandfather, James MacMorran of Florida; her Aunt Debbie and Uncle Brian Barbera, and Aunt Kim and Uncle Joe Consorti; cousins, Sydney, Paige and Chloe Barbera and Joey Consorti, all of Newburgh; and many friends. She was predeceased by her great-grandmother, Anna MacMorran.

Visitation will be held from 3-7 pm on Sunday, January 14 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 15 at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
