Annette Eva Brown, Age 80 of Newburgh entered into rest Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

Daughter of the late Jerome and Nellie (Grant) Muthig, Annette was born September 2, 1937 in Parksville, NY.

Annette over the years worked for Letchworth Village, Occupations Inc. and before retirement she worked for Homemakers Service of Orange County as an Intake Coordinator for home health aides.

She was a dedicated T.O.P.S member on Thursday nights and attended yearly conferences with all her T.O.P. S friends. She loved to sew and knit, making many costumes and blankets for her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening with her daughters and always made sure the bird feeders were full. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and companion with a heart of gold that loved to help people in any way she could.

She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Latimore and her husband, Jack and their seven children and seven grandchildren, Brenda (Brown) Bennie McFarlane and her husband, Bruce McFarlane and two daughters and one granddaughter which was named after her Eva; brother, Paul Muthig and his wife, Cheryl; sisters-in-law, Joyce, June, Dot and Beverly Muthig, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Annette was predeceased by her companion of over 40 years Sergey Offenberg in June 2017, several brothers, sisters, brothers in law and sisters in law.

A private cremation took place at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. at White, Venuto & Morrill Funeral and Cremation Service, 188 North Plank Rd., (Rte 32) Town of Newburgh.
