Not to sound selfish, but sharing your ice cream with your kid or younger sibling, maybe a nephew or a niece isn't the most fun. Especially if you're really craving something sweet.

Luckily there are several different brands of ice cream now being sold that are alcohol infused. I know there are a few wine ice creams out there that I'm not too fond of, but always willing to try. New York City is obviously a mecca for inventive foods and restaurants. I believe there is a new Charcoal Ice Cream exclusively in NYC and it doesn't look appetizing. However, there is a store that I definitely want to try called Tipsy Scoop. They combined "hand crafted ice cream with the mastery of a perfectly mixed cocktail." Some of their flavors include, Tequila Mexican "Hot" Chocolate, Spiked Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Stout and Pretzel and Vanilla Bean Bourbon.

Locally you can visit Mr. Cannoli out in New Windsor. One of our listeners, Julian, dropped off some samples for us and let me tell you...life changing. Mr. Cannoli focuses on Italian Ices and wine sorbets with flavors like Blackberry Shirah, Peach Reisling, Blood orange Prossecco and Strawberry Reislin. They also have a limoncello Italian ice that is one of the most delicious ices I've ever had. Check them out at 355 Windsor Highway (RT 32).
