Alba Casaccia, a Resident of Novara, Italy, Dies at 85

Alba Casaccia of Novara, Italy entered into rest Sunday at her son’s home in the Town of Newburgh, Sunday, December 17, 2017. She was 85 years old.

The daughter of the late Ettore Casaccia and Francesca Amigo, Alba was born August 17, 1932 in Savona, Italy.

Survivors include her beloved son and primary care giver, Nicola Dealessi and his wife, Julia Conway of the Town of Newburgh, her children in Italy: son; Andrea Dealessi, daughters; Monica Ruggerione, Natalia Dealessi and a their extended families. In addition to her parents, Alba was predeceased by her husband, Vittorio Dealessi and her two siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:30 am, Thursday, December 21, 2017 at St. Mary’s Church, 1209 Route 9W, Marlboro, NY. Burial to follow the Mass at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
