70-Year-Old Hudson Valley Woman Killed In Head-On Crash
A 70-year-old Hudson Valley woman died Monday morning following a head-on crash.
On Monday around 7:30 a.m., the Town of Montgomery Police Department responded to International Boulevard for reports of a two-car accident.
An initial investigation determined that 70-year-old Eileen McAdam of Montgomery crossed over the double yellow-line and drove into on-coming traffic, hitting a car head-on, police say.
McAdam and the driver of the other car, 30-year-old Brittany Bonestell of Walden, were both airlifted to Westchester Medical Center.
McAdam was pronounced dead at the Westchester hospital.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police say.
Town of Montgomery Police was assisted by Town of Montgomery Ambulance, Coldenham Fire Department, Orange Lake Fire Department, New York State Police, Town of Newburgh Police and Town of New Windsor Police.
