A 64-Year-Old man with a history of sex abuse was sentenced to prison after he was caught coming to the Hudson Valley in an attempt to have sex with a young boy.

Stephen P. Brown, 65, of New York City was sentenced to more than 24 years in prison for attempted enticement of a minor.

According to court documents, between Jan. 2014 and March 2014 Brown had sexually explicit online conversations with an undercover New York Police Investigator posing as an 11-year-old-boy.

During their chats, Brown discussed various sexual acts he wished to perform on the boy and requested the child to send him sexual explicit photos of himself. Brown made a plan to meet the boy for planned sexual activity at a Westchester County hotel for

On March 4, 2014 Brown was arrested when he arrived at the designated meeting place in Westchester. After his arrest, Brown admitting that he exchanged emails and instant messages with a boy, asked the boy for sexually explicit photos, and discussed meeting to engage in sexual acts.

Brown also revealed he brought a camera to the hotel to take sexually explicit photos of the boy.

A search warrant of his Manhattan home yielded thousands of images and videos relating to child porn. A background check of Brown revealed he has abused 4 boys over the last 30 years.

Brown was also ordered to pay a $50,000 fine.
