5 Woman Arrested on Prostitution Charges in Orange County

Five woman were in arrested on prostitution charges, while three men were busted for solicitation of the call girls. 

Members of the City of Newburgh Police Department and New York State Police conducted a Prostitution Operation in the City of Newburgh to address numerous complaints from members of the community.

As a result of the operation police arrested the following City of Newburgh residents and charged them all with Prostitution:

• Trenette Melvin, 48
• Monica Diaz, 35
• Carol Depalma, 39
• Sierra Verdon, 22
• Christine Spencer, 42

Three individuals were also arrested and charged with Patronizing a Prostitute third-degree:

• Bernardino Rianchos, 51, of Newburgh
• Emilio Cortes, 46, of Gardiner
• Robert Espinoza, 54, of Bakersfield, CA

Also arrested during the operation was a juvenile for multiple counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
