Two search warrants on the same Orange County Street led to the discovery of a large amount of heroin, crack cocaine and weed, authorities said.

On Friday, the City of Middletown Police Department, with the assistance of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Strategic Operations Group, conducted two search warrants in connection with drugs on Linden Avenue in Middletown.

The first search warrant yielded 262 bags of heroin and 50 grams of marijuana, police say. Joemy Rivera, 22, of Middletown was charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both felonies, and criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor.

Over two grams of crack-cocaine and 12 bags of heroin were allegedly found during the second search warrant.

Colin Morris, 21, and 19-year-old Brandy Patterson were both charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Steven Ogden, 35, of Slate Hill was also arrested during the second search warrant. Ogden was wanted by City of Newburgh police for multiple bench warrants, police say.

Ogden was turned over to the City of Newburgh Police Department. Morris, Patterson and Rivera were all held pending arraignment.
