New York State Police in Kingston investigated an allegation of a 37-year-old male that had engaged in sexual relations with a 16-year-old female at his residence between October and November of this year.

As a result of the inquiry, Thomas R. Bartholomew of Kingston was arrested and charged with two counts of rape in the third degree and one count of criminal sex act in the third degree. 

He was arraigned in the Town of Hurley Justice Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of a bail of $15,000 cash/$50,000 bond and ordered to appear in the City of Kingston Court at a later date.
