Neighbors weren't thrilled when two men allegedly decided to have a late-night fireworks show in the Hudson Valley, weeks after Independence Day.

On Thursday around 11 p.m., Saugerties police responded to the Neglia’s Farm Stand on Route 32 in the Town of Saugerties for a reported fireworks complaint.

Upon arriving, officers observed fireworks being set off from the farm stand, police say. Police allege 23-year-old Russel Neglia and 34-year-old Kyle Silinovich both of Saugerties set off the fireworks.

According to Saugerties police, empty dispense fireworks cartridges still smoking were found in the driveway of the property.

Both were charged with unlawful dealing with fireworks and dangerous fireworks. Neglia was also charged with disorderly conduct.

Both were released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Saugerties Justice Court on August 1.
