Multiple Hudson Valley restaurants received Awards of Excellence, with two local restaurants winning the grand prize.

Patch reports that 19 Hudson Valley restaurants have received awards from Wine Spectator, which is one of the leaders in the wine industry. They have named the Best Restaurants for Wine of 2018. The winners of the awards are throughout the Hudson Valley. The restaurants are rated on their vintage wine selection and available wine pairings.

The big winners, of the Grand Award, are Crabtree's Kittle House Inn, in Chappaqua and Blue Hill At Stone Barns in Pocantico Hills. Both are in Westchester County.

Other restaurants in the region were given the Best Award of Excellence. The Hudson Valley winners are Rivermarket Bar and Kitchen in Tarrytown Blu Pointe in Newburgh, Moderne Barn in Armonk, and La Crémaillère in Banksville.

The last award that Hudson Valley restaurants won from Wine Spectator was the Award of Excellence. The local winners are Traditions 118 Restaurant in Granite Springs, Winston Restaurant in Mount Kisco, Cosimo's On Union in Newburgh, Ruth's Chris Steak House in Tarrytown, Il Barilotto in Fishkill, Benjamin Steakhouse in White Plains, BLT Steak in White Plains, Morton's, The Steakhouse in White Plains, The Supper Room in Chester, Alba's Ristorante in Port Chester, Tarry Lodge in Port Chester, Crew Restaurant & Bar in Poughkeepsie, and Ship Lantern Inn in Milton.
