Yesterday, the New York Post reported that NASA has found, with the Kepler telescope, over 1200 new planets. Nine of which could be habitable. Obviously my mind went directly to aliens. While they're not exactly saying "they're out there" NASA scientist Ellen Stofan is very hopeful "that somewhere out there, around a star much like ours, we can eventually discover another Earth."

I've heard rumors that the Hudson Valley is a hot spot for UFO activity, mainly in Pine Bush. Again, I'm not saying I exactly believe, but hey it's a possibility and I enjoy reading/researching sighting. It turns out there is a data base for UFO sightings. The National UFO Reporting Center breaks down where the sighting was, what time and what the individual saw. These reports are of Unidentified Flying Objects, not of little green or grey men.

After some research, here are some of the local findings within the last year or so:

March 20, 2016 Lagrange: Spotted a silent aircraft in wooded area.

March 17, 2016 Lagrange: Moving constellations seen at 4am.

March 3, 2016 Pine Bush: Chevron UFO was sighted over Pine Bush.

Jan. 17, 2016 Accord: Three gold and white lights seen in a triangle formation traveling slowly and silently.

Nov. 15, 2015 Middletown: A disk with intense white and blue lights was spotted flying over Middletown.

The question is, have you ever seen a UFO? Do you believe there is life out there on other planets? Let us know on Facebook. CJ and I will be digging more into this tomorrow morning.
